Skinmate Woods Lamp

The lamp uses ultraviolet light to closely examine the skin to diagnose certain fungal and bacterial skin infections as well as conditions that cause pigmentation changes of the skin. The lamp is held over an area of skin in a darkened room, and causes no discomfort for the client. If there is the presence of skin irregularities, the affected area will change colour under the light.
